This website is dedicated to the Cadillac Seville. Especially the years 1976 to 1979.
I created this site because I owned 2 '78 Platinum and Sable Black Elegantes, which in my opinion still is the most beautiful car that I have ever owned and if I have the chance, I will buy one -in perfect condition- again.

cadillacseville.org is a website dedicated to the '76 to '79 Cadillac Seville. I started the first version of this website back in 2006, not long after I bought a '78 Seville Elegante.
I searched the internet for sites about this car and about the '76 to '79 Cadillac Seville in general. I found about nothing.
So I started to buy all kinds of Seville books and brochures and I collected the information that I found on the internet.
I registered this domain name and started building a site. The first version was made with Joomla! and was updated regularly in the beginning. Some years later, when I had less time, the site became static.
After a near crash of my web server I decided to put in some effort one more time by making all information from the old site available in a HTLM-only site, so the information would be on the internet for ever for enthousiasts who are looking for information about this beautiful car.
My name is Antoon and I live in the Netherlands. My first American car was a '73 Chevrolet Corvette that was perfect for cruising with my wife. Later we got a daughter and I needed something bigger for the three of us. That became a '78 Cadillac Seville Elegante. After I became an independant IT consultant, I used the Seville as a daily driver for about three years and that didn't do that car a lot of good. I drove it in summer and winter and the quality of the car became worse and worse.
For some time I owned a second '78 Elegante for parts, but I needed something else.
In 2008 I bought a '92 Cadillac Eldorado in Norco CA, that I imported to the Netherlands myself. This car was my daily driver until 2016.
In 2010 I bought a '86 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS in Texas. This car I only drive in the summer when there is no salt on the roads. More information about this car can be found on this site.
In 2018 I found a very nice '78 Seville Elegante again in the US and had it shipped to the Netherlands. After 2 years in storage, it is April 2020 now and I am prepairing the car for a check by the Dutch DMV to get a license.
